The Lighthouse has grown from offering meals and medical help
to helping the homeless earn valuable income. LightWorks draws
its experience and manpower from a group of skilled individuals
who are eager to put their skills into good and productive use but have not been given the opportunity so far.
These individuals are people who predominantly sleep
on the streets of Georgetown city and regularly avail themsleves to the meals provided by the Lighthouse Drop-In Centre.
Now, you can give them the opportunity. All you have to do is contact LightWorks and engage one of the
services below.
Not only will you get some work done, you would also be helping our friends from the Lighthouse earn a living.

- Grave Maintenance
- House Cleaning
- Cementing Works
- 'Moving' House/Office
- Gardening/Lawn Mowing
- Painting (indoor/outdoor)
- Laundry
- Recycling
- Tailoring
All payments are made as donations to the Lighthouse. There would also be a pre-determined donation amount depending on the type and amount of work done. Receipts will be issued for all donations.

Lightworks Coordinator
When you engage LightWorks, you would be helping a street person stand on his/her feet. Besides, donations made to LightWorks are cheaper than regular rates outside for LightWorks is not profit motivated but welfare motivated.
90% of donations made are paid out as wages to the street person doing the job and 10% is retained for operational expenses.
